To the Editor:
Halloween is gone, elections over and I hear the turkey gobbling.
Back to Halloween night in downtown Luckey, Ohio. Troy Township Fire and EMS out on the streets watching,
protecting, giving out candy and I am not sure but think maybe a ride or two in the fire truck. All
volunteers while we are home enjoying the goblins and watching TV.
The first Sunday of every month they have a pancake breakfast to make gas money so they can get to our
house fires, heart attacks, auto accidents and any other emergency.
Halloween is gone and Thanksgiving is on the way, but wait boys and girls, there is something else big on
Saturday, Nov. 22, the Troy Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Inc. Feather Party. I’ll be there to show my
    support, hope you will also.
They may not be the only one fire department in the world but they may be the world to one of us someday.
